Embassy Suites by Hilton Plainfield Indianapolis Airport

They have decent breakfast, but they really need to change up their dinner menu. The dinner food is not good. They have a pool, but most of the time it's under some kind of cleaning. They do have a gym and it would meet most standards. The rooms are very nice, love the beds and pillows. It's also very quiet. Thick walls! They need to bring back the room service and should add in luggage carriers to help you. They have a very large and beautiful event space. Over all I'd stay there over the other hotels in that area.

The design of the room was lovely, but the customer service could do with improvement. Rooms: 4/5 - We stayed in a family room with 2 double beds. Lovely design, however one of the lights were faulty and gave my husband an electric shock. The hotel were slow to come and take a look, so we ended up needing to go downstairs to request a new room. The lotion in the bathroom also had not been filled up. Food: 3/5 - there was not much choice for breakfast, barely any fruit available, and there was only one person making omelettes and pancakes, so the queue got pretty long. Customer Service: 2/5 - When we called reception about the faulty light, we were told someone would be up shortly, but after waiting 1 hour, we had to go down to reception to ask for a new room as we weren’t comfortable staying in that room with children. The receptionist was not polite and reluctantly gave us a new room. Overall, the stay was nothing to write home about and I wouldn’t recommend. Stayed here recently with a fellow flight crew member while in town for Textron aviation, had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel is modern and updated, clean, and the staff is delightful. Jason and his crew at the bar will take great care of you, they have an amazing food selection, and best of all we were greeted each morning by the adorable Bernese Mountain dog puppy Lilith! Will absolutely be staying here again when we are in town. Thanks again for all the spectacular service!

I stayed here while traveling for a regulatory inspection; the three girls working the registration desk on Monday 23Oct were actually terrible to deal with - they were rude to my boss and I, did not provide relevant local information when asked, and withheld vouchers for the hotel. The MAIN redeeming quality for my stay was Jason at the bar/restaurant. Jason was super courteous, pleasant to interact with and helped my boss and I with the local information the desk did not provide.

I am here every month and they take care of everything that I ask for. It's not the lowest cost, but having a restaurant and bar in the lobby is a plus and so is the staff. Food is good, drinks are as well. Bar staff has been the same for quite a while now and always attentive. If looking for a place to stay in Plainfield or west Indy, don't hesitate.
